Tobou and Tuareg have deep roots in history

  • The Tobou and Tuareg, both of the great Sahara tribes, reside in the desert triangle between Chad, Niger and Libya.

•Tuareg and Toubou tribes have both been systematically suppressed under the goverments of the contries in which they live.

•Both tribes have ethnic and tribal links beyond the countries border in which they live.

•The two tribes co-existed peacefully under the Midi Midi truce until September 2014 when the ubari conflect started.
